Operation Consequences: 100 Arrests, 13 Guns Seized in High Desert and San Bernardino Crime Crackdown

HIGH DESERT, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A sweeping crime suppression operation in the High Desert and San Bernardino resulted in 100 arrests and the seizure of 13 firearms, including a ghost gun, as part of a multi-agency effort led by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Operation Consequences was conducted from January 26 through February 1, 2026, and focused on the High Desert communities of Adelanto, Apple Valley, and Hesperia, along with the city of San Bernardino.

Investigators served nine search warrants and made contact with individuals involved in gang activity or prohibited from possessing firearms. The San Bernardino Movement Against Street Hoodlums (SMASH) Street Enforcement Team also conducted proactive patrols in San Bernardino and surrounding areas.
