BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – After two interim appointments were made to replace vacant seats, Blacksburg finally has a full town council.
Joel Goodhart and Andrew Kassoff are joining the ranks on Blacksburg Town Council, the two members serving in the same capacity but coming from very different backgrounds.
Goodhart was born and raised in the New River Valley, settling down in Blacksburg with his family. He’s never formally served in a town government role, but did campaign for a council spot last year and has kept up with Blacksburg’s governance as a “hobby.”…
