Richmond, Virginia – Two rounds of light winter weather are being monitored across Virginia and northeast North Carolina, with snow possible at times from tonight through early Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service in Wakefield, the first round of snow may develop later tonight into Wednesday morning, mainly north of the Interstate 64 corridor. Forecasters say most areas will see little to no accumulation, though a coating to less than one inch is possible.
