Hit-and-run victim speaks out after helping woman in Toledo parking lot

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A 23-year-old woman who was struck by a car while helping another woman in distress outside O’Shea’s Bar and Grill on Sunday is speaking out about the incident.

Abbriana Hackett said she intervened when she saw a woman being dragged through a Toledo parking lot. The driver who hit Hackett fled the scene, and police are searching for the suspect.

“I’m still glad I helped her. We are both still here. I’m thankful for that,” Hackett said…
