EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 21-year-old man was arrested after he struck a police officer with a vehicle and fled the scene in East El Paso last month, according to El Paso police.
Police say Zuniga is facing two counts of aggravated assault against a public servant and evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.
Just before 4 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, officers were dispatched to a burglary of a habitation in progress at the 10900 block of Yogi Berra Circle.
The officers approached a vehicle in the area and believed the occupant of the vehicle, who was later identified as 21-year-old Angelo Ramon Zuniga, had something to do with the burglary that was reported, police said…
