Madison man arrested for armed robbery after north side break-in

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police arrested a man Tuesday night who they said broke into a home on the city’s north side while armed with a gun.

Officers responded to the 1300 block of Ruskin Street, just off Aberg Ave., at around 11 p.m. after a neighbor called 911. When they arrived at the scene, a woman reportedly ran out an apartment screaming “he’s got a gun.”

A 32-year-old man was detained at the scene, and police reportedly found a gun in the unit…
