With Krewe de Canailles gearing up for its eighth annual walking parade on what should be a beautiful Friday night in Downtown Lafayette, I find myself marveling at how this event represents Lafayette at its best.
It all started back in 2017, at what was then the second annual 24 Hour Citizen Project, a gathering of community-minded individuals who band together to fund small scale projects aimed at making Lafayette better.
