Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As I write this month’s letter, I’m reminded once again why I’m so proud to serve as your Mayor. The recent snowstorm tested our community, and you responded exactly as I knew you would—with hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to taking care of one another.
First, I want to express my deepest gratitude to our city staff who worked tirelessly to keep Nixa safe. Our street department, along with volunteers from various other departments, kept the snow plows running around the clock. These men and women sacrificed time with their families, battled exhaustion, and braved dangerous conditions to ensure our roads were clear and passable.
