A major multi-million dollar road project in Conroe is finally making headway after nearly a decade of delays.
The $221 million extension of Old Conroe Road, running from Loop 336 South to FM 1488, will widen the two lane roadway to four lanes and construct a new bridge crossing the San Jacinto River.
