WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Now that Boeing has reabsorbed Spirit AeroSystems, the company is investing in its operations in Wichita.
Last month, the company was granted two building permits for its facilities on South Oliver Street. The permit applications filed with the Metropolitan Building and Construction Department shows that the company wants to spend nearly $12 million to expand its facilities on-site.
The company plans to construct a 140-by-290-feet building that will be used for storage. The project is valued at $7 million…
