ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque police have identified 51-year-old Roman Kirby as the person responsible for the standoff on I-40 Tuesday night.
Police said Kirby was driving recklessly and waving a gun on the side of the interstate before running to an arroyo and reportedly firing shots at an APD drone.
An APD officer eventually shot and killed Kirby. The situation left many drivers stranded on the interstate for hours, unsure of what was happening…
