Grocery Tax Rebates and Water Bill Credits Available for Greeley’s Low-income Residents

The City of Greeley offers financial relief to qualified Greeley residents from taxes paid on food the previous year. The Low Income and Food Tax program started in 1990 and expanded its benefit to include water utility assistance for those with a Greeley Water account.

Low-Income Food Tax

Beginning Feb. 1, qualified residents can apply for the city’s Low-Income & Food Tax (LIFT) and Utility Programs (UP). LIFT applicants will receive a maximum $100 rebate per person per household.
