US speedskating coach from Hawaii prepares athletes for Olympic games

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A Hawaii man is one of the longest-serving coaches for the United States speedskating team.

Ryan Shimabukuro, who grew up on Oahu, has spent 28 years as a speedskating coach, with 24 of those coaching the U.S. Olympic team. This will be his sixth games.
