Federal officials announced that Aaron Corey, an Albany County resident, appeared in U.S. District Court this week after being charged with receiving illegal material involving minors.
Prosecutors say Corey is also an alleged member of “764,” a violent extremist organization that authorities describe as a nihilistic online network operating in the United States and abroad.
