FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The city of Fort Wayne is hosting a series of open houses where residents are invited to share ideas for the future of the Waynedale neighborhood.
The city issued a release on Wednesday, inviting Waynedale residents to attend two open houses to share ideas and express concerns as officials work to draft the Waynedale 2040 Plan.
The open houses will serve as community input for the plan, which will be completed in the summer of 2026. The plan addresses projects and program investment in areas like historic preservation, economic development, housing marketing, infrastructure, parks, transportation, public safety, etc…
