A developer plans to demolish a vacant former brewery on Grand Rapids’ far north side to build his first multifamily apartment building.
Bill Hephner from Cedar Springs has a purchase agreement with Lawrence and Donna Deliefde to acquire 3113 Plaza Drive NE, the site of the former Hideout Brewing Co. as well as hot tub rental company Hubba Tubba.
The irregular-shaped parcel just north of I-96 has sat vacant since the brewery closed in March 2019. NAI Wisinski of West Michigan lists the property, which was built in 1984 for Hubba Tubba, for $425,000, or $82.80 per square foot…
