HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Phat Sammy’s, the popular Downtown Huntsville bar known for its tiki cocktails and creative menu, announced it will close this month, with its final service set for Friday, February 13.
In a social media post, the restaurant thanked its customers and explained the decision, citing upcoming projects outside of Downtown. “With our lease renewal approaching, we’ve made the strategic decision to close Phat Sammy’s to focus entirely on the massive new projects we have in the works outside of Downtown, above ground,” the post read.
The owners shared that the closure is not just an ending, but a chance to build something new. “We aren’t just closing a door; we’re laying the foundation for something entirely new. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been building, but first, we want to celebrate where we’ve been,” the post said…
