Burst pipe floods N.J. cafe for homeless residents, now group is asking for help

A non-profit group in Essex County dedicated to helping homeless families is reaching out for help after a pipe burst in the facility on Tuesday, flooding the entire building.

Volunteers with Montclair Emergency Services for Hope said they arrived to work at the building on Bloomfield Avenue “to find it flooded due to an unexpected pipe burst.”

“This couldn’t have happened at a more critical time, right in the middle of Winter Respite, our busiest season,” the group posted on Facebook…
