DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Durham police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide after a man and a woman were found dead late Tuesday night.
Officers responded at approximately 10:04 p.m. to a reported shooting on the 2800 block of Crest Street at the Crestview Apartments, according to the Durham Police Department. When officers arrived, police said they found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
In a news release issued Wednesday, police said preliminary findings indicate the incident appears to be a murder-suicide. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details will be released as they become available.
