Seven alcohol retailers in Ventura recently demonstrated full compliance with state law during a recent Minor Decoy Operation conducted by the Ventura Police Department on Saturday, January 17, with no sales made to an underage decoy. The operation reflects continued efforts to prevent underage access to alcohol and support responsible business practices citywide.
While no citations were issued, the results reflect a positive outcome for the City of Ventura and its residents. The operation demonstrates how local retailers are taking their responsibility seriously and are actively verifying identification before completing alcohol sales.
