Syracuse’s largest apartment complex, Nob Hill Apartments, is in significant financial trouble, with a foreclosure notice posted on the property indicating more than $50 million owed under a loan agreement with Fannie Mae. The complex is also embroiled in a lawsuit from the city over ongoing code violations.
Residents have voiced numerous complaints, including security concerns, lack of heat, and broken elevators.
“Haven’t had any heat since the storm started,” said Leche Gunn, daughter of a resident. “They’ve been passing around space heaters and all that good stuff for them to use their electricity bill up.”…
