SUNNYVALE, Texas — Tami Kayea’s historic run as the first female fire chief in North Texas is coming to an end in the Town of Sunnyvale.
Wednesday, Sunnyvale’s Interim Town Manager Bill Vegas announced in a press release that Kayea will no longer serve as the town’s fire chief, a position she’s held since January of 2024.
