Gunman arrested after home invasion and robbery in Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – One man is now in custody following a home invasion and armed robbery incident in Wisconsin on Tuesday night.

According to a release from the Madison Police Department, officers responded at 10:58 p.m. to a home on the 1300 block of Ruskin Street after a neighbor called 911 to report a disturbance involving an armed man.

Upon arrival, officials say a woman opened a door and ran from the home screaming, “he’s got a gun.” Police then entered the home, detaining the man inside while also finding a firearm in the process.

Officers say the man broke into the home, demanded money from the victim, as well as her phone, making her unable to call for help…
