A Missouri man is behind bars after trying to kill a woman he was dating because she made a plan to leave him and tried to see it through, Show-Me State police say.
Anthony Schanuth, 49, stands accused of one count each of domestic assault in the first degree and armed criminal action, according to St. Louis County jail records.
