Kobe Dooley had no way of knowing how specifically prepared he was for his college future until a chance meeting brought everything together at the last minute.
The Mesa Ridge receiver who signed Wednesday with Air Force grew up in a military family – his father, Chris Dooley, retired as a master sergeant after 20 years in the Air Force – and he was a 7-on-7 teammate of current Falcons quarterback Liam Szarka through Team Full Gorilla in Denver.
Still, the Air Force connection didn’t materialize until Dooley’s final football game in high school…
