EUGENE, Ore. — Traffic on River Road resumed following a scare involving a suspicious device that turned out to be a hoax, the Eugene police Department said Wednesday evening.
The Metro Explosives Disposal Unit (MEDU) was called to the scene after Eugene Police initially closed both southbound and northbound lanes at Maxwell and Kourt due to the report.
