Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A winter weather advisory is up for all of WNY starting Friday morning going through Saturday evening. 3 to 6 inches of snowfall is possible.
The National Weather Service says a combination of widespread snow and localized lake effect snow is expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected, with locally higher amounts possible across the hilltops south of Buffalo. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will create areas ofblowing and drifting snow.
