Former South Fulton mayor pleads guilty to misdemeanor trespassing charge, sentenced to probation

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Former South Fulton Mayor Khalid Kamau was sentenced Wednesday to a year of probation after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor trespassing charge.

Kamau, who served as the city’s mayor from 2021 to 2025, pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor trespass charge during a pretrial hearing.
