STEPHENS COUNTY, Ga. (FOX Carolina) – The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office reports a 17-year-old is being charged as an adult after a vehicle was stolen for an auto dealership and driven into another county.
Deputies said they responded to a dealership on Tuesday after a 2023 Cadillac Escalade V was stolen on Monday. Sources confirmed 17-year-old Justus Coakley from Grovetown had been in communication with the dealership about the vehicle since late Jan. 2026.
Investigators asked the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office to assist with the investigation. They responded to Coakley’s residence and found a similar Escalade in the driveway. He was taken into custody without incident, according to officials…
