CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Icy roads and sidewalks continue to create dangerous conditions across Charlottesville, with the city noting a growing number of accessibility issues as un-shoveled walkways leave residents with physical disabilities unable to navigate the city.
Ciara Campbell, who lives in Charlottesville and uses a wheelchair, said the snow and ice have made basic activities nearly impossible.
“For most people, the snow’s inconvenient for a couple days,” Campbell said. “For me, especially with the piles of snow that are in the curb cuts, that can take weeks and weeks for everybody to figure out.”…
