GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) — A former Subway manager is facing multiple felony charges after investigators say she broke into the restaurant where she once worked, returned multiple times, and later carried the stolen cash drawer into her home.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a reported burglary and vandalism at a Subway restaurant on Red Bank Road early Wednesday morning. Investigators say the suspect, identified as Taralynn Jean Earl, 37, shattered windows to gain entry into the business. Deputies say no alarm was triggered during the initial break-in.
Investigators say Earl left the scene after the first break-in, then returned on two separate occasions. During one of those return visits, deputies say she entered the restaurant and stole the cash drawer…
