Gannon sports management students depart for the Big Game

A group of students from Gannon was hand-picked to go to the big game on Sunday in California.

Sports management students met at the McConnell Family Stadium on Wednesday morning. They will be covering the Super Bowl in Santa Clara, California.

The crew will be there for a week. Outside of being at the biggest night in sports in America, they’ll be working at and attending events around the Super Bowl, doing some sightseeing, including at Alcatraz and going to a Golden State Warriors game.

“For a lot of students that have an interest in the sports industry, it’s their first big experience and it’s really a great resume builder and is one of those things that helps to establish their career.”
