A Miami man fled authorities across multiple Southwest Florida counties on a rare chilly Saturday afternoon.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a request for assistance from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and North Port Police Department around 3:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, in regard to a criminal suspect who fled in a 2025 blue Lexus SUV down Interstate 75.
