KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A man was arrested on Wednesday after being wanted for attempted first-degree murder since an incident in January, the Knoxville Police Department said.
55-year-old James Dotson fired multiple rounds at a wrecker truck driver who came to repossess his Toyota truck on Jan. 29, KPD said. Officials said the driver was not hurt, but Dotson fled the scene before police arrived.
KPD officers, Special Operations Squad personnel and Homicide Unit detectives served Dotson his warrant at his home on Hayworth Drive and took him into custody on Wednesday afternoon, KPD said…
