CANTONMENT, Fla. — The man believed to be the oldest veteran in Florida — and one of the oldest World War II veterans in the nation — celebrated his 109th birthday on Thursday.
Private Duane Brewton was born and raised in Pensacola before he went on to serve in the Army.
