Tampa Bay-area Bahama Breeze restaurants ‘converting’ to different chains in 2027

TAMPA, Fla. — Three Bahama Breeze restaurants in the Tampa Bay area will “convert” into different chains by mid-2027, according to parent company Darden Restaurants Inc.

Darden announced Tuesday it is closing 14 Bahama Breeze locations and converting the remaining 14 into other Darden-owned restaurants.

The Tampa Bay-area locations set to convert are:

  • Brandon — 805 Brandon Town Center Dr.
  • Lutz — 25830 Sierra Center Blvd.

The remaining Florida restaurants, which are closing, are:

  • 12395 SW 88th St., Miami, FL
  • 10205 Rivercoast Drive, Jacksonville, FL
  • 1251 West Osceola Pkwy., Kissimmee, FL
  • 11000 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, FL
  • 1540 Rinehart Road, Sanford, FL
