Teens face murder, attempted murder charges in S.F. shooting that killed 15-year-old

Two teenage boys on Thursday were charged with multiple felonies, accused of opening fire during a triple shooting that killed a 15-year-old girl near a San Francisco playground.

A 16-year-old boy was charged with murder and a 15-year-old boy was charged with attempted murder, among other charges, prosecutors said. The teens, whose names were withheld because they are minors, were scheduled to make their initial court hearing Thursday afternoon, when a judge was expected to decide whether to release them to their parents or keep them in custody.
