Michael J. Fox Foundation brings luncheon event to Palm Beach to fund Parkinson’s research

PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Parkinson’s disease is the fastest-growing brain disease in the world, and Florida has one of the highest rates of the disease in the United States.

Right now, there is no known cure for Parkinson’s, but The Michael J. Fox Foundation is leading the way in research funding over $2.5 billion in global research programs since its inception in 2000.

The foundation estimates the number of people living with the disease will reach an estimated 25 million+ by 2050…
