AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Rumors and unconfirmed reports raised concerns Thursday at two local schools.
Grovetown High School
At Grovetown High School, administrators on Thursday notified parents that a social media post created off campus by a student caused rumors to circulate.
Columbia County School District police and administrators are aware, and the staff will remain diligent in routine safety protocols, parents were told.
School operations will continue as normal, but out of an abundance of caution, there will be an increased law enforcement presence at the school…
