WORCESTER, Mass. — Saint John’s Food for the Poor Program in Worcester is operating a winter overflow shelter throughout February. The 45-bed shelter on Temple Street is open to the public and offers meals, lodging, and warmth.
“The demand is definitely up. There’s also, I think, a larger homeless population that we have in the city that we’re serving,” volunteer Krystal O’Leary said.
