Des Moines man allegedly causes drunken ruckus at Applebee’s

A Des Moines man was arrested Wednesday night after allegedly drunkenly shoving restaurant workers and threatening police.

Joshua Todd Anderson, 32, of 3807 S.E. 26th St., Des Moines, was charged with assault with intent to cause pain or injury, harassment of a public official or employee, aggravated theft and first-offense public intoxication.

The incident began about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at a restaurant in the 6100 block of Mills Civic parkway, where officers of the West Des Moines Police Department responded to a report of a disturbance…
