HOUSTON — Deputies responded to a major, two-vehicle crash along U.S. 290 near Mason Road, where they found a woman trapped inside her vehicle under the back end of a box truck as first responders rushed to the scene.
Firefighters and emergency medical crews worked quickly to free the woman, who remained calm and alert throughout the rescue, authorities said. After being carefully removed from the wreckage, she was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
