NEWTON, Kan. (KWCH) – A striking Great Pyrenees dog that’s been spotted as a stray and widely discussed in the Newton community is now in the care of the Caring Hands Humane Society, the Newton Police Department confirmed.
In a post on its Facebook page, the Newton PD credited the department’s animal control officer, Lyndsey Robinette, for her “determination, patience and willingness to go the distance.”
