The Anchorage Assembly has passed new rules aimed at improving safety in public spaces.
In an 11-to-1 vote Tuesday, Assembly members approved AO 2026-10, a measure proposed by Mayor Suzanne LaFrance and cosponsored by Assembly Members Zac Johnson and Kameron Perez-Verdia.
