A pickup truck driver fled after crashing into a utility pole and fire hydrant early Wednesday in Orange, knocking down live power lines, igniting brush on a hillside and forcing major traffic closures, authorities said.
According to the Orange Police Department, the crash occurred around 1:21 a.m. in the 3100 block of North Tustin Street. Officers said the driver ran from the scene and was not located as of 10 a.m.
