“There is quite a lot of trash sometimes on Lark Street that I see,” noted Sean Herron from behind the counter at Stacks Espresso Bar. “I try to pick up some on the way, but like, it’s difficult. It’s just littered around, you know?”

According to Raven Bell, a Center Square resident, “There’s always dog feces and stuff like that around, so it’s kind of like unhealthy to have like so close to us.”

“Let’s invest this money now so that we’re providing services year-round for the businesses in the community,” said Christopher Burk, who is the chair of the Lark Street Business Improvement District, or BID, and long-time resident of the neighborhood.
