Three Ingles stores have remained closed for more than 16 months due to damage sustained when Hurricane Helene swept through western North Carolina in September 2024.
In an SEC filing Thursday, the Asheville-based grocer reported it plans to reopen the stores in the Buncombe County town of Swannanoa, the Mitchell County town of Spruce Pine and the Burke County town of Morganton. The stores are expected to reopen during 2026 and 2027, according to the company, which did not provide a further timeline.
