Grocery prices ease slightly in Tri-State as tariff relief begins to show up in stores

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – After months of tariff-related volatility, grocery prices in the Tri-State showed modest signs of easing in January, with notable declines in coffee and beef prices.

New data from a grocery price-tracking project, in partnership with the University of Cincinnati’s Alpaugh Family Economics Center, shows the average cost of a basket of common grocery items fell for the second straight month.
