SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – An Upstate boutique owner who is already facing several charges in other counties for fraud was arrested again on Thursday morning.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office shared that it received two separate reports from different victims on Jan. 9 and Jan. 14 regarding Thomas and Turner Boutique in Belton, owned by Pamela Brooke Schronce. In both cases, the victims reported making purchases for which they never received the merchandise or a refund.
Officials said that following an investigation, two arrest warrants for obtaining property under false pretenses were issued for Schronce. She was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Facility on Thursday and has since been released on a combined $2,000 cash surety bond.
Schronce is accused of scamming multiple customers statewide.
