LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Gov. Andy Beshear said six more people died in Kentucky from January’s winter storm, bringing the total to 22 people.
They are:
- A 79-year-old woman from Floyd County
- A 77-year-old man from Grayson County
- A 59-year-old man from Hardin County
- A 92-year-old man from Hart County
- A 68-year-old man from Leslie County
- A 69-year-old woman from Madison County
One of the people who died was previously announced as a 55-year-old man from Jefferson County. Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg identified him as Richard Marshall.
A second unhoused person also died in Jefferson County amid the cold this week, however Beshear said they are not being counted as part of the winter-related deaths…
